Charlotte Area Chamber with Robin
Robin recently had the chance to sit down with an old friend, Diane Chase, on the Charlotte Area Chamber podcast, and it was a meaningful moment for us. The conversation touches on the origin of The Secret Chocolatier, but for me it also reflects the many shifts that happen when a family business grows. What began as a small family table at markets became a real shop, then a larger responsibility, and over time Robin’s role kept evolving with it. She has carried a great deal of that growth on her shoulders, helping shape not just the business itself, but the way we care for the people who walk through our doors.
What I also love in hearing our story told out loud is being reminded that this has never just been about chocolate. It has been about long days, persistence, learning as we go, and building something that could hold more than one generation. Logan getting to work alongside his mother and grandfather is part of that story too, and part of what makes it all matter. If you’d like to hear Robin, Dianne and Michael's conversation, give the episode a listen, and if you’re nearby, come see us sometime.
