Chocolate Sculptures: A Glimpse Into Our Team’s Creative Process
During the slower days of summer, we sometimes like to mix things up and give the team an art project to work on. It’s not something we do every year, but when we do, it’s always interesting to see what comes of it. This year, Chef Bill took a different approach and gave the team complete creative freedom—no restrictions, no guidelines, just an open canvas to create something special.
The results were fantastic. From a butterfly garden to a treasure chest with a mermaid mask, a rock vase filled with flowers and berries, and even a mushroom forest with gnomes, each sculpture was a window into the creator’s personality. Their choices weren’t random—they revealed how each team member thinks, approaches challenges, and expresses their creativity.
Beyond the art, these projects give us a chance to see their skills with chocolate, a notoriously tricky medium to work with. Watching them turn their ideas into reality under a deadline was a great look into both their technique and their work ethic.
But more than anything, it’s about connection. Projects like this give our team the chance to feel more involved, more seen, and more a part of The Secret Chocolatier family.
