I'm Robin Ciordia, one of the founding members of The Secret Chocolatier and now the Principal Partner and Head of Operations. Being part of this family-run business since the very beginning has been an incredible journey filled with growth, learning, and countless sweet moments.

Over the years, my role here has evolved significantly. What started as a shared dream has blossomed into a thriving reality, thanks to the unwavering support of our community and the hard work of our dedicated team. Today, I'm thrilled to share some exciting news about a significant milestone for us—a dynamic expansion into a new warehouse space!

The Big Move: Expanding into a Warehouse

For the past couple of years, we've felt the growing pains of needing more kitchen space. As we searched for solutions, we encountered several challenges in trying to separate our production from our retail front. Then, the perfect opportunity presented itself—a warehouse that could accommodate our needs and fuel our future growth.

This new space is a game-changer. It provides ample room for our shipping, packing, and receiving departments. There's even a dedicated section for photography, which will help us showcase our products better than ever. And I must admit, having my own office is a delightful bonus!

But more than just extra space, this warehouse represents potential—potential to innovate, to expand our product lines, and to continue delivering the high-quality chocolates you've come to love.

What This Means for You

So, what can you expect from this expansion? Well, for starters, a wider variety of products and increased availability. The additional space allows us to expedite order turnaround times, handle larger orders, and accommodate more customization requests—all without disrupting the daily operations of our retail front.

We're boosting our production capacity significantly. This means more of your favorite treats and the introduction of new and exciting products. I'm particularly excited about expanding our dairy-free and vegan-friendly lines, catering to more of your dietary preferences without compromising on taste or quality.

Fostering Creativity and Maintaining Quality

One of the joys of this expansion is the opportunity it gives us to foster creativity among our team. Currently, we have four stunning chocolate sculptures on display in our retail front, showcasing the incredible artistic talents of our staff. With more space and resources, we can encourage even more of this creativity, bringing you unique and delightful creations.

Quality remains at the heart of everything we do. By giving our kitchen more space, we're not only improving the physical workflow but also enhancing the mental well-being of our staff. A comfortable and efficient workspace leads to better products and happier people.

We're also planning to offer our hands-on classes more consistently throughout the year—not just during the slower summer months. This includes private parties and special events, providing more opportunities for us to connect with you and share our passion for chocolate-making.
